| Centipede Cabinet arrives. A very solid cab all around, with no water damage! It was converted to a Double Dragon, and the sides where partially sanded off, with a horrid paintjob on top. Agh! Sideart is not restorable. Not a good start. | Started sanding off the sides. Used an orbital sander, which left a few deeper marks here and there. Very hard to use... will have to fix these later with putty. | Another angle. Not too bad. | Spent some time fixing a few worn/dented edges all around. |

| This is the one corner that had a slight thump. Filled it with putty...will sand smooth later. | Primed the sides. No paint whatsoever, as I plan on putting repro sideart eventually. | Another angle. Still needs a final sand off, which wil be done before placing the sideart. | Black t-molding is on now. | You can see the texture on the sides here. This will be sanded off smooth before sideart goes on. Not to worry now. | Side shot. | I purchased a coin door-- exactly the same one used in the Centipede cabs by Atari. Decided to disassemble it, and paint it all. Used Rustoleoum spray paint. Not perfect, but I like the results. | Decided to test the wiring. Simply connected the bulbs to the 5V cables from the PC. Works like a charm. |
